Text Message from the number read: there is an issue with your item….then a link dating track here for further information. What item? I do not know the number the message is from, there is no company name, no order number, item information at all.
Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

Call received from this number today, 27 February 2023 @ 10:16. I did not answer, but they left a message, which I felt was an attempt to trick me into responding in order to avoid paying unlawful requests for several hundred pounds. I believe this to be a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon.

SCAM - Claiming to be from 02 and asking for security code to access the account and give you a monthly discount. Fortunately the text that’s sent with the code warns to hand up immediately if code is being requested via the phone. Stay vigilant!
