I have had nine calls of this number today and when I answered they stayed quiet for a moment before asking for me by name in an indian voice

This number, 01675 594730, claims to be a company called 'Motor Assist', they do not ring for long & don't leave a message but when you ring it back its a recorded message with a man with a Scottish accent - saying the usual 'leave your name & number, & one of our Agents will call you back'. I never get these kinds of calls. But I had this number calling me today and yesterday (2 & 3 June 2020) with a recorded message claiming to be from BT and informing you that your internet will be cut off in 24 hours due to suspicious activity on your account. On the 3rd time they called, I actually pressed "1" to "speak to a consultant" and asked them to remove my number from their list. They then just hung up on me. Hopefully that will be the last of that! :-)

Phoned me yesterday, i answered as this is a local number to me. Line was quiet initially, and then a male voice stated where he was calling from (though he said it so fast, no one would have a chance in understanding where he was calling from). He then went on to say "you recent life insurance claim has been refused". Fraud I am receiving calls from this number and then several times again throughout the day on 0208 but with a change in the remaining 7 numbers, I have answered the only twice and the man on the line says the name of the same company, I have demanded that they stop or I will report them but they still insist on calling again.
