The phone number was received in Germany by a fax machine. There are no business or private relationships with the UK. The fax machine could not receive a message. Wrong dialing or spam?

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

Calls and just won't answer
This number calls me frequently. They claim to be Call Blocking Department. They appear to have my name but do not pronounce it correctly. I tell them I'm not interested, and ask them not to call me again. Irony of ironies, they keep calling. Without any firm evidence, I would say it reeks of a scam.

Missed call, no message and coming up as a mobile in Manchester or Liverpool area, so pretty sure its 99% a scam as I dont know anyone in this area and I do seem to get a lot of scam numbers.
I did not speak on the phone and they hung up usually when a legit persons phones me they say who they are this person did not speak

I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.

This number has rang me twice now, the male on the other end says, you have just rang this number. Yesterday I told them no I haven't and they asked who it was, so I asked who they were. They said you rang this number and I reiterated I hadn't and they said you have, so I said no I haven't and told them to go away and put the phone down. This phone number is a scam, recording initially saying funds gone from your bank to pay Amazon £500 and also £700 to someone else. Select 2 to talk to someone, sounds like a call centre with an American with a strong accent. They queried my birth date and rang off. Beware a scam.
