Purported microsoft engineer calls to victims home with all information of target (address tele#) saying hacker trying to acccess your PC and then directs individual to website for downloading software whose purpose is to allow caller remote control of home PC. Oh the irony!

NewDay credit card. My card got frauded and they rang to confirm my purchases.

Missed call, called back to find it these people asking me to do a household survey. I asked them to remove my number, they said would be done in 24-48hrs, I reminded them that they should temove it immediately (they do a call one day they sell the numbers on the next), they repeated their timeline so I reminded them of the law.

This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!
