This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.

Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

Call from number 02037751236 around 11.30 on 12 Feb 2021. Rang off as soon as I answered. Exactly the same experience with a similar number (02037751266) earlier in the week.

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. Probably would have tried to get some sort of financial detail

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!
