Phoned me yesterday, i answered as this is a local number to me. Line was quiet initially, and then a male voice stated where he was calling from (though he said it so fast, no one would have a chance in understanding where he was calling from). He then went on to say "you recent life insurance claim has been refused". I remained calm and said that i had not tried to take any life insurance out, and would he kindly remove my number from his list. He then muttered something and hung up on me. Ver

I am living in Switzerland and had the same issue, within 3 days 15 text messages were sent to this number and didn't even stop when I switched off FaceTime and iMessage on my iphone. Carrier first blamed Apple and Apple blamed Carrier. Called Apple Tech support and after debating long back and forth they advised to back up the iphone (after storing all data on iCloud). In the end this helped. Seems to have been a bug. Was quite annoying.

Called, supposedly from Talktalk. First there is a problem with my router! then the internet connection. Wanted me to tell them what key was next to the ctrl key on my keyboard, probably wanted to either gain access to my computer via the 'remote helper' or by some other illegal scam they have devised. Indian accent but the number is, according the the internet, from Birmingham. Scammers as far as I am concerned so told her, I was ending the call.
