Cold callling. Strong Asian accent. Some kind of financial company pretending they ve legitimately obtained my number. I wasn t pleasant.
Fraud. Someone claiming to be from FCA saying they are investigating into a fraudulent company and asking how much you have invested.
Claims to be from Microsoft. Wants credit card details.. Its a SCAM.
This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.

They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. As usual, no message was left on the answerphone, which is always suspicious! Now blocked.

Had a couple of missed calls from this number so I rang it back and got an automated recording saying I was called today by instant solutions and they would try to contact me again soon. So I ve blocked the number.

We received a letter with this number in looking very authentic with quality paper, official headings and very plausible wording. We were nearly convinced.I was very glad to be able to look up the number on this website to confirm doubts.
I believe it is a scam, saying I have had a criminal case registered against me. I haven't been anywhere to commit a crime and tend to keep myself out of trouble anyway. Do not follow instructions from this automated call.

I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.
