*SCAM* Amazon Prime Renewal! (Spoofed number - Probably someones home number!) Obviously A SCAM - I don't have 'Amazon Prime' account. Recorded message/menu, that sounds totally REAL!! NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

This is another number used by "Alex from the Solar Centre" It is a SCAM, bot ! A cleverly set up bot that can make some sensible replies to my enquiries. e.g. Q Are you working from home? A < a standard response> Please can you repeat that. But then went back to the same old preamble about 4 free home installations in the Dorset area, which it had said 3 times this week already .Each time I block the number, it pops up from an other one!

My work phone was called by this number, and got a recorded message, ostensibly from my bank, saying the two large transactions, one of which was to Amazon for £999 had been blocked, and said that I had a choice to either release the transactions or speak to a representative. This number is supposedly based in Slough, but that's not where my bank is, so I ignored it.

Pretending to be from O2 with an Indian accent. Hung up when I asked 'why would I have a call from O2?' I am not with O2, so this is fake.

SCAM - fraudsters are using this number pretending to be O2. woman Called, then when I called back (knowing it was 'Mem's Cafe' after a google search), a man picked up with the same accent and didn't seem to care nor want to investigate - so assuming he's involved and is using the number in the same way.
