I got text messages from this number, claiming to be someone called Emma. I was nearly taken in until they asked for a Phone voucher because they were in the hospital. I then realised that the only Emma I know enough is a Consultant Paediatrician, and so probably wouldn't be asking for money. Potentially dangerous

This is a scam number, they pretend to be from Carphone Warehouse. As soon as I mentioned I don’t need anything, he ended the call. It was from a noisy Indian call centre. I blocked the number and added it here.

Call about insurance policy for domestic equipment (which isn't covered) expiring then telling you your current insurance you do have is quadruple in cost when it is for life of item covered.
Called the number back and it was an automated message from Crown Glazing Ltd. It said I could hit 9 to remove my from their list...so I obviously immediately hung up and blocked the number!
Female automatic message claiming to be from "banking" warning about large transactions (£1000) on Amazon. Menu options 1&2 ignore or speak to someone. I checked banking online, no such transaction made or pending. Probably a scam.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Definitely a scam, someone called using a VOIP program, could hear the tell-tale audio noise as well as the delayed relayed connection. Claimed to be from O2 offering a 50% discount on my monthly call plan, let him get so far into his spiel until he said he was going to send me two codes. Red flag behaviour; never give anyone your text-acquired code, it is to hijack your online account.

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.
