SCAM 01227631995 - had a call from this number claiming to be from Amazon regarding a Gift Casrd purchase for £49+ made supposedly by me from an address in London. Having never bought a gift card nor having anything to do with this address I told the caller so, and also said that this is a scam call, to which he hung up. I have had several similar calls to this one for varying amounts and each time I am quoted the same London address. Clearly this is a scam and should be avoided at all costs.

I ve just had a call from this number. They said that as I had been involved in a road accident my case had been referred to them. As I had a car accident in the last week my insurance company had referred me to an injury claim solicitor (one who does a lot of advertising on TV) so I thought this was them until I was passed to a supervisor who then proceeded to say "I understand you have been involved in an accident in the last two years". Only wanted to speak to owner of business. When asked about his company he gave the company name. When I asked what they did he spoke to me as if I was stupid and said "we finance Companies". When I said we were ok thanks he sneered as me and said "yeh right", so I said goodbye and hung up. Whatever they are trying to sell they will get no customers with that attitude.
