This number contacted me by txt message saying that they are from post office about a redirected parcel. The number is Russian so beware its a scam they want me to use a link and who knows what will happen do not its fraudsters block this number

Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

This number rang my landline on both 18 and 19 August. Just rang long enough to get me near the phone, but not long enough to pick up - annoying. When I rang the number (from a safe untraceable mobile) I got the recorded message 'Number not in service' ! At best it's spam - at worst it's fraud, so I'll class it as a scam.

They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. Silent call Likely to be a call centre scammer. Other sites suggest a false front number presented by 'appliance insurance' who are just after card details.

SCAM robocall claiming to be from the Visa Department and that a £900 charge had been made to my account. As my bank does not conduct business via robocalls this can only be a scam.
