This was a very entertaining phone call as the man on the other line who went under the name of "Michael Jordan", not the basketball player, told me I must give him money or else I would be arrested in 30 minutes!! Thank you Mr. Jordan for giving me and my flatmate 40 minutes of laughs this morning.

Well somehow this individual from Russia knows that My HSBC account has had 250 pounds transferred from it. Automated call supposedly from office for NI contributions saying they had noted fraudulent activity on my NI number in Wales. They wanted me to press button 1 before they commenced legal action. I couldn't find button 1 before they hung up. Oh dear.

SCAM Said they were BT, and our line was about to be cut off. So, not neutral folks, it's a scam. They can cut our BT landline if they want. We're in Hull on Kingston Telecom, so no BT landlines here. Their office location is said to be in London, on or close to Trafalgar Sq. ... so very close, the Met could pick them up. But somehow doubt that will happen.
