This caller left a recorded message to say "to find out more about this case before we proceed to legal action press 1". If you press 1 you just get a repeat of the message. For the elderly like me this is quite frightening.

Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. PPI caller - I have had about 15 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks
I received so many calls from this number until I decided to block it. They called and nobody spoke! I know nobody who comes from Liverpool so I suppose it is a scam.
SCAM call recorded message claiming to be from HMRC stating that a tax fraud case has been raised against me. I immediately put the phone down these are known scams that try to get you to press a number on your key pad so they can charge you stupid amounts for a fake call.

"Industrial Workers Union" scam from Derby had been ringing me daily for around three weeks. Finally gave in to temptation and picked up. "We re totally legit" and "a government body" the man said. Basically boiled down to cold calling people on a tradesman database looking to get money out of past employers for supposed hearing loss. Safe number NHS. This was a call from Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Alliance about an out of hours appointment. The number came up on my phone as possible Scam, but it is genuine. Google it. Apparantly number is also used by complete business systems.
Fraud Automated call advising me of transaction that l need to approve. Wasn’t aware of any outstanding transactions. Hung up and called my bank and my bank was not responsible for the call.
