For once, an unknown number that is actually legit. It was a call from Thames Water. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number but the voice message was genuine with specific details (including the correct address) about a drainage issue I d discussed with them earlier. Genuine call.

SCAM Claim to be from infasset.com and able to offer investment advice, directing you to that website. Unable to answer basic questions about whether they have financial licences. Eventually they ask you to download anydesk, which is remote access software. Evidently their endgame is trying to obtain personal information. Block the number.

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them.
