This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

This was a scam number claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently, they asked for card details before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.
I have been hounded by callers from the 07824 allocation by Vodaphone. The latest, because I have blocked the others, was from a different number in the series - but the caller was certainly a nuisance, persistent and a pest. The call was not from anyone I knew or wished to know and whilst I cannot for certainty say it was a scam this is likely as the caller kept on mentioning Bit Coin. Want nothing to do with them either

I lost all my savings to CM Trading. I invested 100,000 and they refused to allow me to withdraw both my initial deposit and accrued interest. SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.
