Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number. I will no doubt be getting calls from the Indian subcontinent, with the caller using redirect software to make the call appear to be coming from the UK. This is a work mobile which is only used for calling work.....there is no fraud on the account.....therefore I would say this is dangerous

Its a genuine debt collection agency. After checking on here and seeing everyone saying scam I thought I d check with HMRC first. I knew I owed the money so after checking they were genuine I phoned them. I knew I couldn t pay the full amount so I offered £50 a month and they were happy with that, they didn t try bullying tactics or anything. They re not the boogeyman.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
