Received a call on my mobile from someone with an African accent who could barely speak English, ie he was reading from a script. He seemed to be saying he was from 'Tesco Mobile' but am not sure of that. We ended the call and blocked the number.
Silent call. I answered the call, saying hello several times. Nobody answered, then the call disconnected. Number is supposedly from London area and there is no reason why anyone from there would phone me.

She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

Had a few missed calls off this number over a few days, then one morning at 5am, my phone woke me up by calling this number by itself on speaker. My phone is fingerprint/pin locked, and my applock app registered two failed attempts to access my phone's settings. Everyone in the house was asleep and I've yet to find an explanation.
