This number, 01675 594730, claims to be a company called 'Motor Assist', they do not ring for long & don't leave a message but when you ring it back its a recorded message with a man with a Scottish accent - saying the usual 'leave your name & number, & one of our Agents will call you back'. All the numbers from this range 020794609xx are used by the same call centre dealing with insurance marketing - car accident. If you say you have had no accident, they mostly hang up the phone and that's it... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.

Told me I am coming to the end of my contract. Not true! Wants me to upgrade my phone. Wanted me to confirm my address. Told them if they have my address they should tell me what it is and they should write to me. Told me he could not do that because of data protection. Told him he was giving me my address and that I did not trust him. Said I was not interested especially in a scam.
