This is a scam where they pretend to be BT and will give you te above number to call with an id code to verify their authenticity. They tell you they want to shut down your Broadband for 5 days due to errors - blah blah. Probably after they will try to get access to your pc in some way. Don t know cos I crashed out and phoned BT who said it was a scam.

SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.

This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. SCAM Purported to come from BT saying my internet connections was being used unlawfully by several different people.
SCAM A man tried to tell me that my money was locked in the blockchain. I asked him to explain the blockchain to me and when I told him that he was wrong, he became aggressive. After doing a bit of digging, this is a Skype number and the caller is not in the UK at all.
