This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Be safe everyone.

Called today @ 13:05 hrs. I have a call blocker on my landline set to 'announce'. This seems to work for all of these low life scammers. They do not introduce themselves to be put through. Telephone does not even ring. My suggestion is to get 'Call Guardian'

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. I do not know anyone in Edinburgh nor am I dealing with any company/organisation in Edinburgh! The caller did not leave a message which leaves me to think it was either. Scam or someone selling something. Either way, it was an unwanted phone call.
