01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. Just mortgages. I requested a call back from a broker and this is the number that called me back. Nothing dodgy or unsolicited.
Waste of time survey call that failed to announce themselves in a way to recall the name, failed to provide their privacy information and rang off when details were asked. They were chasing for the RNIB/VIRGIN MEDIA and SCOTTISH POWER. If these people use this service I will not want any business with them.

Told him it s all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn t deal with it. Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.
