Despite repeatedly telling them I have no interest in investing I am getting calls most days and have been for the past six months from multiple numbers beginning 0203 868 3*** Nothing I say seems to persuade these people to stop harassing me by telephone

My answer phone picked up their call but all I could hear were fizzes and crackles. Sounded dodgy to me so I didn t ring back. Sounds as if I did the right thing.
I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. This number called me after I had placed a request for a tradesperson to do some work for me. His accent sounded very artificial as if it wasn’t his normal accent. He may have been genuine but I don’t think he was. It is showing as a number from Russia and I live in the UK. He said he would come this evening to look at the work that need to be done. He would not take any details about where I live but wanted me to text them to him. I have read that 0738 is associated with scam calls so did not text.

Called claiming to be microsoft. Knew my ip address and foreign phone number. Very odd
SCAM Nuisance call. Silence when you answer then hangs up. Its as though they are testing if the line is LIVE. 2nd nuisance call within an hour - 1st was from 'MICROSOFT SECURITY' think these are connected. Reported number to TPS service.

This was a call on my mobile purporting to be a voice message from my doctor and to follow the link. This was recorded at 0012 hrs. No doctor would call at this time and it looks like the call comes from Manchester. I'm in Birmingham. Obviously I did not follow the link and deleted the message.
Settled accident claim (9 months ago, not my fault, no physical injury sustained by me) and eventually accepted small payout after being hounded by solicitors. I imagine they are just random calling after accessing insurance claim/accident data from an unethical source!! Had 3 calls on same day from different unknown / nuisance numbers! Stinks!

Claimed to be from Coventry, offering to help with a serious problem on my computer. I asked him what sort of computer he thought I had. He cleverly said he didn t know and would not ever access my computer because that would be illegal. I pretended to play along for a bit, until he got annoyed with my frivolous answers to questions and hung up. Definitely a fraudster.
