This number keeps calling me and when I answer there is noone there, except an automated message that says "goodbye".

These people just lie and tell you you have money due back on your rates when you don t! They sound very genuine at first but when you check with valuation office they say that it is a scam. Stay clear

I contacted this company on behalf of my mum. I explained that I had an agreement with the energy supplier to clear the outstanding bill before the 14th of September. The debt collecting company then called the supplier and they said yes the agreement is in place. Second call received from this number. The first time they hung up as soon as I answered. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up!
