Constant harassment!! These people have called the last 4 days on mobile, today I have received 7 calls. Every hour basically, I ve tried calling back no one picks up, they are getting info on apparently ppi refunds. They want all your details. Please do not engage these people or pick up the phone as they are waiting for confirmation the phone is active.
automated call saying an investigation has been lodged for tax evasion and asking you to press '1' for further information. Sounds like a scam to me.

Said it was calling about a banking transaction. I believe it to be a scam call.
Fraud HMRC tax fraud scam, they will tell you there is a warrant out for your arrest unless you pay £495.50 over the phone straight away, if you dont pay they threaten to have you arrested for non payment of taxes, when you say you dont owe any tax, they then say its for unpaid council tax do not engage with them, hang up phone straight away.

I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. Where it rings, there's no one there if I answer and if it goes to voice message, no message is left. Each time this happens I add the number to my phones blacklist so it's blocked if they try again. BUT this one is unusual because the call came from 01633 856923, but empty message left was from 01003 487792.
