an ambulance chasing claims handling firm. A call about an RTC I had apparently had. Clearly not from the area that the STD code suggested.

Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

My number is ex directory and is an unlisted number. Would like to know how they managed to obtain my telephone number!!!!

Debt collector. Had been receiving calls daily. Finally answered and they asked for my address and dob! Hung up and did research on the company. Called them back as I didn t think I had any debts. Gave them my details, but they had my old address. Confirmed that. This number is very interesting as it appears to be coming from the uk but I have caller display on my landline and underneath the number it comes up as 'international'...

Called claiming too be HMRC (An automated voice mail) saying there s a fraud case open in my name and if I didn t press 1 too connect my call I would be arrested shortly. Absolute fraud DO NOT PRESS 1!!!

This number is a recorded message claiming to be about savings on gas for people on benefits. Calls regularly (to my BUSINESS line) and gives option 2 to speak to them and event...

Gave some details which I said were false and after a while he got fed up and asked why I was wasting his time !!!!!!!!!!!

Missed a call from this number. Telemarketers are never welcome whoever they are.

This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.
