Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. My credit card issuer informed me that a fraudster tried to change my number to this one. Presumably to get OTP sent to them, not me
SCAM Automated call pretended to be Ofcom and that my io address has been connected with links and internet was to be switched off within 24 hours, and asking me to press 1 to connect with the scammer. Hung up and contacted Ofcom directly and clarified it was indeed a scam. Horrible bastards I hope no one gets caught out HANG UP IMMEDIATLY.
Picked up and silent I have not checked the silent call box as that is indicating Neutral when they are at least annoying and for some nervous people can be quite frightening.
