I was contacted by this number who said they were Carphone Warehouse and I was due an upgrade on my phone. I felt the telemarketer was very friendly but was very pushy. Repeating my details over and over. He then had to phone back to say that my address wasn t on their system and that I needed to phone Orange and update even though I have lived at my address for 34 years and had 3 Orange contracts. Needless to say I told them not to bother.

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Number is one of Scot Call s many. They are part of Mackenzie Hall group. and collect old debts, that can be 10 - 20 years old. By law most debts over 6 years are void. The calls are usually automated or ask for personal info. Hope this helps.
