Had several missed calls from this number in Cambridge. He said he had good news maybe and was i in a minor road traffic accident recently. When I said no, he hung up. clearly fishing, spoke rapidly, was in a noisy room and on reflection seemed rather dodgy.

Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number. I will no doubt be getting calls from the Indian subcontinent, with the caller using redirect software to make the call appear to be coming from the UK. Just received a call that it transpires was from 07791412013 - phone display said External Call, the number was not shown. Picked up and the line went dead. Dialled 1471 and this number was quoted. Tried dialling and it said the number was not recognised, therefore it was a spoofed number. Have to conclude the masking of the number means it was dangerous.
