I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. Called today. Recorded re two huge Visa card transactions. Realised it was a scam so pressed 1 to mess with them. Amateur scammer in the middle of a meal? Argued with her for a while until she hung up after becoming very irate.

I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.

I think this is a scam. Message said I had made an unusual transaction on card, £300 Amazon and £1000 international money transfer. Call did not identify a specific card, so I am assuming this to be a scam. Interesting that it is a Bristol number identifiable to a location.

If you get a quote from Compare the Market or Money Supermarket, they are in partnership with Life Search who deal with the enquiries, not a scam in any way shape or form, amazes me how quickly people shout SCAM! – I actually got a great deal from them, they were very professional and cheaper then most.
