SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.

Appears to be a scam. Supposed to have paid £216 in March 2021 for 2 years cover on electrical items further 3 years to pay for now. Supposed to have signed a contract but when I asked for a copy of supposed contract to be forwarded caller hung up!!!

Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . Called my Husbands company phone and wanted details of his date of birth etc due to an accident he had had in his work van, he didn’t divulge anything and as the guy was asking for more details my husband said you should already know this information if you have the file as you say you have. SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails.
