Call center. Said name was Martin from the Rethink Energy Company, wanting information about the house. Claimed had been asked by energy companies to contact households in my postcode area. I said if I wanted advice I would seek it myself, not from a company I didn't know. Internet search shows that there is a Rethink Energy Ltd, but no Rethink Energy Company.
Missed call, left no message.
Claimed I had 4.20300026 (£60K) in frozen bitcoins on bitcoin.com. I needed to transfer £300 to reactivate my account. Was very rude an pushy.

Phone rang twice then cut off.On checking with BT to block this number they couldn't show that it had called
02 offering discount -asked me to read the number from a text they sent me and then asked for my 02 password which I then declined and hung up 12:45 18 th May 2023
Also received from 01795432276. Caller said that £300 would be debited from our account from Amazon, also a much larger amount. These are not the first times these calls have been received. Checks on my accounts haven't found and debits so they must be scams.

SCAM I think it’s a romance scam number. Started innocently but then exhibited signs of romance scamming … wonderful to have met you, I love you, I’m hoping all will go well etc… not even met or spoken. Really odd and find the number has been searched a few times which only confirms my suspicions!

Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. Getting so fed up with calls from this number, and others including what appear as mobiles, telling me that my "home appliance insurance" with them has expired, or is about to expire, and asking for my bank details so that it can be renewed. Very strange that the company insuring me (they're not, of course) has no idea what appliances I have. Calls coming 2-4 times each day.

Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)
