Received text from this number claiming to be NHS Test & Trace. But followed link which asked for payment of £1.50 and credit card details. So looks like the text was a scam, or the link had been hijacked by a scammer.

This is an affiliated number belonging to a set redirected through a Company called Nexbridge Communications Ltd. They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from. They need debt advice themselves as their Directors are in debt up to their eyeballs! HMRC will only contact you through letters, not a personal EE phone number, and their web address is .gov.uk

An automated message told me a warrent for my arrest would go out immediately if I did not answer the call by pressing one. The man told me he was from hmrc, asking if I was employed or self employed. He then said, after asking for my name, the call was made to the wrong person on the wrong number and hung up on me!
