Text message saying unusual payment request on my HSBC account and to click on a link to confirm payment, I've never even banked with HSBC.
Phoned from this number and numbers ending in one digit away. Unsolicited, even though I use the TPS. Didnt pick up the call as Im in a classroom,
Received SMS pretending to be HMRC saying I was due a rebate. Included a link to website where, it said, I could verify my identity. I did not follow the link, of course. Reported to Action Fraud as phishing attempt.
Received a text message from this number advising someone had tried to access a HSBC account. I phoned HSBC who confirmed this is spam
