My daughter has just had the same phone call saying she has been selected for the £8000 grant. she is a special needs child and gave her address to the number now she is petrified to be at home what can she do about this I am fuming at the disgrace of what my daughter has just been put through

Telemarketer phone call

I received a call from 02039587974 telling me they are calling from London County Court and that I have had a tax fraud case against me. They asked if I was able to make a £1198.00 payment so prevent my car being seized and sending the police out, whilst I was on the phone they tried to convince me they are calling from London Central count and asked me to google the number and rang me from the same central London county court number to assure me. I rang London court to confirm and told me it was not them

callers are often rude and despite my request to them to remove my details from their database. they still call me to bully me into confirming my details over the phone. When I refuse they hang up and block my dial backs so I can't make a complaint.

My partner has an ongoing battle with Safari Mobile. When she complained, they produced some detailed-looking reports, but refused to divulge the actual sign-up URL. After several e-mails, they eventually coughed up £50.00 as a 'good will' gesture, but the total owing was over £250.00. My partner was adamant she never signed up for the service and today she finally got hold of the bill for July 2016 which proves this beyond doubt. Terminated call so no idea where it was leading. Believe this is connected to phone numbers 020 3000 7916 and 0161 814 3982 who are identical scammers
