I told him he had the wrong number to which he asked if I was the owner of the number. I asked if he was on to sell anything, I m not interested. Phoned at 7.10am and rang off when I answered, so I don't know who it was. Just annoyingly early on a Saturday morning.
Claimed to be from Amazon security and wax saying someone was try to spend £700 on my account and asked for my banking info. Immediately very suspicious as sure Amazon would not do this.
It would seem that there are that many scam numbers that the good ones unfortunately are getting tarred with the same brush. Lovely peoplewho helped me sort out compensation for industrial deafness.

Waste of time survey call that failed to announce themselves in a way to recall the name, failed to provide their privacy information and rang off when details were asked. They were chasing for the RNIB/VIRGIN MEDIA and SCOTTISH POWER. If these people use this service I will not want any business with them.
Had a missed call. Called them back. It was a computer generated message that tells me the break down cover on my set top box is due to renew. But no details on who the caller is to tell if this is fake or not.

I just bought a washing machine from boots online and in less than an hour got a call on both my landline and mobile. I was having my hair cut at the time of the calls so I did not answer. After reading the above comments if they call me back they better take some insurance out for themselves . I think it is disgusting that a company like Boots are so quick to sell on my number

They stated they were HMRC and that I had an open action against my National Insurance number that needed immediate action, or will result in my NI number being suspended. A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.
