Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.

I told him he had the wrong number to which he asked if I was the owner of the number. I asked if he was on to sell anything, I m not interested. Missed call This number called me, has not left a message. The location ties with another number that has also called and not left a message. I assume they are possibly scam callers but no proof to that effect.

This was a Bt internet scam call.

Number has called a few times over the week. When I answer they immediately hang up.
