I got a text from this number telling me I am eligible for a discounted energy bill rebate and telling me I can apply from this link http://energy.bill-rebate.com. That link looks like a Gov.com site ok but when I do a separate visit to Gov.com it states there that I do not need to apply for this. something fishy about this I think
An Indian guy, saying he is from a housing association something ??? Was difficult to understand, he asked if we had any repairs done, I made out I have been waiting a year, he then asked if I was a council tenant, I asked him what day is he coming to fix my indoor swimming pool, he put the phone down, I tried ringing back, but just a recorded message ????????

SCAM text msg say it was from Evri and that they had tried to deliver a parcel and that I needed to go to a web site to re book the delivery. This is a scam
Claiming to be from EVRI about a delivery fee and failure causes parcel to be returned ...... "Now follow link ..." in aggressive bold print ... I'm not expecting any parcels and certainly not ftom EVRI ... who or whatever they are! Suspect this is a SCAM.

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.

Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. When asked if anything had been sent in writing the chap with a "Georide" accent said it could only be dealt with by phone so number blocked and reported.
