phone went but did not answer looked very suspicious.

Same as antispam above. Told the caller "computer helpdesk" was so last years scam and he was talking rubbish. Caller soon hung up. called at 19.00 hrs.

Caller claimed to be from "Accident Helpline" and to have got my number from my car insurance company. He hung up when I challenged how he'd got my number.

Keeps leaving a voicemail after the call. Voicemail cites the number that called and advises not to disregard the message as the matter at hand is time sensitive.

Unwanted call from I talk telecom. Although call was from Chesterfield I am doubtful. Was going to check my line to see if I was receiving the best deal on my telephone service. Cut the call there and then. So no idea what was going to happen then.

Young girl with northern accent says where she is from very quickly and then that she has been informed that you ve been in an accident.

Caller asked if I had been in a car accident which was not my fault. I don t own a car.

Recorded message claiming to be from BT, telling me my internet connection is to be cut off due to hacker activity being detected. Invited me to ?press 1? for assistance. I put the phone down at this point. No doubt a dangerous scam.

Asked my name. I told them they should know my name as they called me. She babbled something and hung up. The government should crack down on these parasites.

This number rings my home number at least 3/4 times a week. very annoying!

Scouse lad calling from a motor accident claim company, asking if I d been in an accident recently. Told them I hadn t (I d had a minor bump a few months back but no injuries to either party, but I m not telling them that). Surprisingly the advisor actually offered to take my number off their database (whether they will or not is another matter).
