Fraud Claimed she was the techincal dept of Virgin Media and that she could see that my internet connection was fluctuating and that she could restart my router to get a better connection. I told her she had called a business and which point she hung up.

Fraud this number keeps texting me saying it is my "eldest" and they have lost their phone and need me to pay for this new phone. However, when I ask them their name, they just say "eldest". I dont actually have children, so this must be a fraud act.

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

Called by this no it was someone called Marcus Taylor he said he was from fraud squad in London I called them and they said he did not work there and had serval calls about him and a John Edwards they advised to block the number

Caller claimed to be from EE customer service, told me I have a good credit rating and I was inline for an upgrade, I informed her I was not an EE customer so then she said I must be an O2 customer, I told her I wasnt and she then droppped the carrier on me as I was suspicious.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!
