caller of Asian descent introduced himself as Michael from Microsoft...an obvious scammer so rang off.
As we have registered our business line with Corporate TPS months ago, this is one of multiple illegal calls we receive promising to get us PPI refunds within 12 weeks. This call, like all the others which also offer Private Pensions 3K windfalls, is an automated message and cuts off within 10 seconds, telling you to press 5 to start your claim or 9 to unsubscribe. Can someone tell me what happens when you press 9?

Surely I would of had something in the post or an email of some kind instead of these young kids who call up. Im starting to wonder now. On the initial text I was informed was a quiz for an Asda shopping voucher, there are 2 ?1.50 texts to "sign up" what it doesn t tell you is that every other text for each question is also very expensive. I have spent over 100 in 3 days. not a happy man.

SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.
