Claimed to be financial investigation team, telling me that the have found $11,000 of my missing money. I am British so my currency is British pound sterling. The number cam through as a London area number. After arguing with the man that I was not giving account or personal information to him on the phone he put the phone down on me.

SCAM Call initiated by pressing 1 from within a voicemail The voicemail announced a potentially fraudulent purchase on Amazon of £399. They asked if purchase made. We said no. They then asked to get in front of our computer to check security. At that point call was terminated.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. This is now the Twentyieth call asking for Mr Herman, who is not me. It also comes on another number 01618149030 asking the same question, in both cases it is from the North of England hence Bolton and Manchester. Pain in the butt!!.
