Think it’s a scammer, they say they are looking for freelancers on behalf of an unnamed company.
SCAM This is sent from Evri apparently saying they couldn't deliver your parcel. Firstly I have no parcel coming from them, secondly I have EVRI app which tells me where my parcel has came from, who is delivering it etc coming from a small village our evri driver is known!

28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

scammer stating they are from Barclays bank fraud team and requested money be drawn out and sent to an address to catch the fraudsters they are investigating.
I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I answered phone on first ring and got a recorded message saying they were sorry they were unable to contact me ‘at this time’ and asked me to call back or try again later. The recorded message played so instantly that I missed first 4 words and have no idea who it was. This makes me think is was a group call, so I’ll be blocking it

Received a call from this number today asking me for my work ID number. Refused to provide as the person who did not identify himself when calling my private phone number. Asked from where he obtained my number got no answer. When calling back, person did not take call. Going back to base explained the incident to my manager, manager called this number from the office landline caller took the call and was still demanding the ID number said he will get it anyway and hung up.

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. This number is a SCAM. I just received a call from a man telling me he had my file in front of him and I have some unsecured debts. When I told him that I do not have any debts he hung up immediately and didn't even say goodbye. Clearly not a genuine debt advice agency because they would never hang up in such a manner. Avoid at all costs.
SPAM The number seems completely bogus because they called me, and I tried calling them back twice or a number of times first of all withholding my number, and then I tried it from a regular number showing it, and there was no answer either. It just said the number was unavailable. So I suspect this is totally bogus. Very annoying because I've been getting quite a few spam calls lately and they are all blocked. Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.
