Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

SCAM claimed to be from UK DWP saying my National Insurance Number was being suspended and to press #1 on keypadto speak fo "advisor". SCAM this number rung me this morning saying that my national insurance number is at risk of being blocked as it has been linked to some illegal activities press 1 to speak to an officer. When speaking to a officer I asked him how do I know this isn't a scam and he hung up.
