SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. The moment I said that we bank with NATWEST not HSBC, he put the phone down straight

SPAM I answered yesterday it was a call center offering a loan I said I wasn't me she said that's ok I can give you a loan. I asked to be removed she carried on about how she can get me a loan and asked how much I need so I put the phone down and same number rang straight back so I ignored it and today they have tried again it's 9:30 on a bank holiday

Cold called by this number: man said he understood I had a driveway. Asked what this was about & he said more that I did not understand & could not relate to. Told him this & said I was going to hang up. He said "have a nice day" & hung up.

Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
