Received on my mobile twice in quick succession. Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left so assume this was a sales/spam call. similar number 07711271806 tried again today. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
Negative, this caller claimed to be from B.T open reach then gave the usual nonsense about problems with my internet.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. AUTOMATED CALL - SCAM Automated call saying there had been 2 attempts to pay for goods from my card, one of which was over £1000. Saying to complete my debit card details in order to prevent fraud. My bank would never leave a telephone message in such an event, and wouldn't ask for my bank details over the phone. Call was from Eastbourne

Sales call the second I have had in 2 days despite being registered onTPS. Said they were in my postcode area and that I was on a list for having out of date loft insulation and wanted to send a man into my loft! Rang off when I said that was inconvenient. Polite but persistent.

SPAM John called, said "I understand you still have a driveway?" My reply "I'm sorry but how did you get this number?" He didn't tell me, so I said I subscribe to TPS for no cold callers. He apologised & hung up. Very amiable, & I was polite too :) Only use my landline for emergencies so any call to it arouses my suspicions!

Call center, Took a while to answer after I picked up, then unintelligible Indian gentleman, apparently called Sam from a company whose name I could not catch, doing something I could not catch (despite asking 'Sam' to repeat himself.

Number 01665604816 seems to belong to a legitimate company, but the number is faked and displayed by thieves trying to access people's bank accounts with fake warnings about illegitimate payments from their account.
Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

Fraud A voice with an American accent told me they were from HRMC and I was "wanted" for fraud. They wanted me to call them...presumably to "help" me with this. I hung up as this is clearly not how the HMRC behaves and people are not "wanted" in this way in the UK.
