A woman rang from this number today 2015-11-24 with an American accent. Really bad quality line. She asked who is in charge of the computer? I asked if it is a personal call or ...

Supposedly HMRC need to speak to me or my lawyer as a matter of urgency or I will ?face the legal consequences?. I need to call a hotline back blah blah. Disgusts me that there are these dodgy scam artists out there trying to take advantage of people. They need shooting!!

I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.

Tries a scam on your phone number. When I blocked the number, started pestering me on face time. I am registered on TPS, never opt in etc. Couple of weeks ago upgraded with Vodafone and then these scam calls all start up again. Ofcom should tackle the source.

When Link contact you they might ask you to give them a reference number which they have previously left on your answering machine. The fact that anyone with access to your phone also has this information invalidates it as a security question. Other security questions might be to ask you for your date of birth.
