This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. 00918 8266 89331. Rang at 12.15 pm. Dopey number so ignored. Answerphone kicked in. No message left. SCAM. Number now removed. Back to real life living now!
Unable to answer the original call a voice message was left to call this number back. The voice message did not state the company involved but required an anti-fraud check. This was a 'genuine' number, but the questions were probing and having given my contact number after questions to verify myself I was asked for the last 4 digits of that contact number already given, there were too many disconnected questions that could be joined up for other fraud. I terminated the call. Supposedly Barclaycard.

Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.
This is a scam caller. They will know your name but don't verify anything nor give them any information. They are based in India.

Claimed it was EE, but I suspect this is most likely a SCAM call centre due to the line of questioning and the fact they simply hung up on me when they weren't getting the response they were looking for.

My mobile automatically detects potential fraud calls and if proved it will then report the call automatically as a fraudulent call. I have received several potential fraudulent calls but can’t recall if they are from the same person/company. Take care folks..

Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!
