Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

I m the MD that one person above is keen to tell everyone about. We identify our phone line (an 01422 number) and my mobile is also clear for all on our company website. I do this as we have nothing to hide. We operate strictly by the Market Research Society guidelines. Call this number back. They answer thanks for calling "your debt matters". Have had several calls from this company. They hang up after very few rings, leave no messages so I guess my debt does not matter that much. Blocked them each time but they ring from new number.j.h7r72
