I was phoned at 6.55am by someone claiming to be from Amazon telling me that there had been a suspicious order costing over £700 on my account.
I have just been called by an aggressive man trying to get me to take out a mobile phone contract when I declined he put the phone down on me
This number called me and left a voicemail to say "please respond about this case before we take legal action"
Number was not answered. A partial message which was distinctly robotic was attepmting to convince me that £900 pounds worth of shopping has been done using my debit card. Would I please press 1 if this was not me. Blocked. Defo a scam.
00918045708684 called 30 May 23 at 10:38hours. Female voice advised that my "visa account had been debited £1xxxx from a gambling ??? in California, press 1 to talk to our ???. or 2 to authorise payment ", hung on for a short while to hear if anything followed..... nothing so hung up.

The caller who had a Chinese accent said they were calling from 3 Mobile to sell me a new i phone or Samsung mobile, or alternatively all inclusive minutes for £6.00 for a SIM only deal and asked me what I was spending each month now. Automated call, has rung me 3 times (05/05). I rung back and it and nothing. Has now rung me twice this morning 09/05, I managed to pick up the phone, heard a very loud call centre in the background, and whoever called me hung up after a couple of seconds. Number is now blocked.

Automated call this call was a recorded message saying about bank security and that transactions have taken place if its not the case to press either 1 or 2. I've had so many of these and know it's a scam. My elderly brother went all the way through to speak to someone and realised at the last minute it was a scam so put the phone down but it worried him so much he rang his bank to make sure everything was alright. Fraud Claimed to be the 'legal department' of a Solicitors Firm. Thick indian accent that was not understandable and never gave any company name nor used my name at any time.
I had a call from 01491476930 which is local to me. The voice message informed me there were two transactions on my card which looked suspicious and that I should dial 1 to speak to an adviser. This sounded very much like a scam so I put the phone down. If my bank had found a suspicious transactions, their fraud team would contact me. This may be a genuine call but I would rather be safe than sorry and will investigate myself rather than speak to a potential scammer.
