I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

They call daily asking for a final bill payment. None of their details match mine - they will ask you for card details - SCAM ALERT.

I have been getting a lot of these calls lately and have ended up screening my calls, which is frustrating as I am looking for work at the moment and am missing out on agencies ...

This unknown number has been calling me for days before I got the chance to finally answer. I didn t understand the man s name nor from which company he was calling, but he said something to the effect that I d get a refund for the bank charges I allegedly paid over the past few years. He then asked me about some personal information that he needed for the transaction. Seems like a scam - I wouldn t answer and just hung up.

Got a call from this number +442476755510 number advising that they were from Atrac Solutions (or this is what it sounded like). Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. I asked what was the busines reason for the call but he failed to divulge this information. I kindly advised that I wouln t be answering any information until he at least told me why he was calling. This IS the number of ONE of the CSA/CMS offices.. there are several across the UK, including Northern Ireland. They cannot specify husband s details in case he has re-married for example.. Data protection act doesn t allow for mistakes.. DWP means Department of Works & Pensions (for those in the dark)

The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.

Called my elderly parents yesterday evening (6.6.18). Thankfully when my mum heard automated voice she hung up. I have added 01142967899 to BT call blocking.
